BAR’S ‘BEST PRACTICES FOR PROFESSIONAL ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION’ HANDBOOK UPDATED, AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD
The Florida Bar has released an updated online handbook, “Best Practices for Professional Electronic Communication, ” which offers guidance to all Florida lawyers on communicating in the digital age.
The handbook, originally released in 2015, provides best practices for the most popularly used forms of electronic communication. It examines the ethical, legal, and professional issues that lawyers can encounter when using modern communications, from email and cellphones to texting and social media.
“Best Practices for Professional Electronic Communication” is available for download from the “Resources” section of the Bar’s Henry Latimer Center for Professionalism at www.floridabar.org/prof/presources/.
